Both of these series, especially the Radeon HD 5770, are very popular and considered series graphics cards the most widely used. This is because the Radeon HD 5770 is able to provide the performance of a relatively qualified, at a price that is still affordable.
In 2011, the Juniper chip brain Radeon HD 5770 and 5750 remains believed to mentenagai Radeon HD 6770 and HD 6750 are positioned in the same class as its predecessor.
But by then, its popularity is a bit displaced by the Barts based HD 6850. HD 6850 has better performance, and the price difference is not too far away. For pricing information when it launched the Radeon HD 6850 with the launch of the Radeon HD 5770 price in advance.
Now, in 2012, AMD is ready to present range graphics card mainstream entry-level class that is roughly parallel with two series in the previous generation.
If at the beginning of the year, AMD graphics chip has been successfully presented Tahiti to upscale, this time presenting AMD chip Cape Verde to fill entry-level mainstream classes. Cape Verde The chip is used on the Radeon HD 7770 and HD 7750 which will be positioned roughly equal to the HD 6770 and HD 6750. Both the HD 6xxx series card is a middle class graphics card that has good performance, at an affordable price.
Overview of Cape Verde
When introducing a new line of Radeon HD 7000 at the end of last year 2012. AMD has set up at least three graphics chip for each class.Tahiti as an upper-class graphics chip, comes over with the Radeon HD 7970 and HD 7950. After that, the Cape Verde chip was introduced in February, and is used in the Radeon HD 7770 and HD 7750 graphics card which is an entry-level mainstream. In addition, there are also graphics chip Pitcairn devoted to mainstream classes.
Cape Verde graphics chip itself has a number of similarities with Tahiti chip that is on it. Equally in the series of graphics chips Southern Island, Cape Verde and Tahiti both use a 28 nm production process. Both also use Graphics Core Next architecture (GCN), more powerful and more efficient than previous architectures. However, because it is placed in a different class, of course, Cape Verde and Tahiti has a fundamental difference from the specification.
As a graphics chip entry-level mainstream, Cape Verde equipped with fewer transistors than Tahiti. If Tahiti has 4.31 billion transistors, Cape Verde only has 1.5 billion transistors with a smaller die size as well.
Chip Cape Verde has four operati ons Raster Pipeline (ROP), half of which is owned Tahiti. Then, the graphics chip has a data bandwidth of 128-bits, common use in entry-level graphics card or entrylevel mainstream, much smaller than the width of the data path Tahiti to 384-bit.
Both graphics card based Cape Verde also has a bit of a difference. Radeon HD 7770 for example, has a core speed of 1 GHz with a 4500 MHz memory speed. While the Radeon HD 7750 has a core speed of 800 MHz with the same memory speed, 4500 MHz.
The most visible difference is the Radeon HD 7750 has a more efficient power consumption than the HD 7770. Radeon HD 7750 does not require an additional power supply. While the HD 7770 still requires an additional power supply of PCI-Express 6-pin.

Summary
Judging from the results of its performance, the Radeon HD 7770 and HD 7750 is a fitting successor to the Radeon HD 6770 and HD 6750. There is a considerable performance improvement, especially on the Radeon HD 7770. Game performance when dealing with high detail and resolution is still relatively common, but it is much better than its predecessor.Currently Radeon HD 7770 is in the range of US160 price range, while the HD 7750 in the range of U.S. $ 120. With that price, two graphics card gives a comparison between the performance and the price is pretty good, especially if the HD 7770 is priced at a more affordable.
