Resident Evil 6 will be about twice as long as the previous game in the long running series and horror, especially since the development team at Capcom is ready to introduce more storyline for players to explore.

Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, who is a producer working on Resident Evil 6, has told the European PlayStation blog, "If you play all three storylines all the way through, you'll see all you can see from each side in the story.

"It's quite a lot of volume: we estimate that every one of the storyline might be about 70% to 80% of the volume of the entire game in Resident Evil 5. So with three separate storylines, there is a lot of play here."

Developers also said that the E3 2012 demo for Resident Evil 6 shows a slice of gameplay, but it's not necessarily a clear picture of how the full game will be played throughout.

Yoshiaki Hirabayashi added, "That's not how it will be when you find Ustanak in the last game - you'll still have Resident Evil-style situation where you have a gun with only two bullets in it and you have to make sure you make it important."

He stressed that the horror aspect of the Resident Evil franchise will be more prominent in the sixth game full, mainly through mechanisms that limit the resources the player can use during any situation.

Resident Evil 6 will allow gamers to play as the three teams: Leon S. Kennedy and colleagues recently Helena Harper, Jake Muller mercenary and Sherry Birkin, Chris Redfield and Nivans Piers.

For the first time in the series, players will be able to shoot while moving.

Resident Evil 6 will be released on PC, Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 from Sony on October 2 this year in North America and Europe.
